Project summary & impacts

Info

Engineering design and drafting of components within a conceptual assembly of a pick-and-place PCB-manufacturing CNC machine — complete with cost analysis, drawings, market-feasibility analysis and documentation. Student-led, and delivered beyond the initial project scope.

600+ 3D components assembled in SOLIDWORKS

Drafting and CAD practice.

Beyond the conceptual assembly, the project produced a full drawing package: dimensioned part drawings, a complete bill of materials, and exploded assembly views — like this belt-drive actuator — supported by cost and market-feasibility research.
