Project summary & impacts

Info

Rebuilt the entire ore-hoist production headframe as a to-scale digital twin from 200+ historical drawings, then built a 1:100 physical model displayed in Nutrien Cory's mine training room — used in steel-upgrade plans and to inform the 53-ton skip (hoist bucket) upgrade.

The walkthrough I was asked to make

Playing my part in a multi-million-dollar upgrade.

This to-scale virtual twin, rebuilt from 200+ historical drawings, helped simulate removal of the 53-ton skip and the relevant steel for its upgraded replacement.
